S. Scott Tapper MD is an accomplished and talented Board Certified Vascular Surgeon. He is double board certified in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgery and a member of numerous Vascular Surgical Societies. His curriculum vitae includes education and training at Brown University, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Vanderbilt University Hospital. Dr. Tapper is now expanding upon his interest in venous disease.
 
Dr. Tapper takes pride in his extensive training and specialization in the field of vascular medicine, a field focused on the health of arteries, veins, and blood vessels in the circulatory system. As a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon, Dr.Tapper has been trained to perform many advanced vascular minimally invasive endovascular procedure. These procedures including Balloon Angioplasty, Atherectomy and Stent procedures, and open surgical Bypass surgery of the lower extremities to restore blood flow to arteries.  Seeing vascular surgeon who offers all treatment modalities will assure that you are receiving the most appropriate care for your vascular diseases.
 
In 2006 Dr. Tapper expanded upon his interest in venous disease and opened Symmetry Laser Vein Center™ for treatment of varicose veins. Consultation, testing and treatment are all done in the office making it more convenient for our patients.

Symmetry Laser Vein Center also provides treatment spider veins if the legs, facial veins.
